MELD

In the past, organizations had to adapt to M&E platforms or pay for custom  M&E systems. This traditional way of acquiring M&E systems does not always fulfill current requirements and generally fails when organizations evolve. MELD is M&E reimagined.

MELD is an ecosystem of open-source tools that deliver M&E analysis and reporting at scale.

Why MELD

M&E has four components: data collection, data management, data visualization, and data reporting.

A traditional M&E system that intends to fit all needs (one-stop-shop) usually falls short in any of these components because they cannot be excellent in all of them.

In other words, traditional M&E approaches fail to specialize in each of the four components, leaving behind data gaps and diminished quality of data outputs.

The ecosystem

With MELD, each M&E component is delegated to a technology that specializes in it and combines them into one coherent M&E solution. MELD is an ecosystem of free, open-source, enterprise-ready, software technologies that deliver M&E data collection, management, visualization, and reporting at scale.

How does it work?
